1. Service Description

THE INFORMATION BELOW APPLIES TO EU A8 AND A2 RESIDENTS. IF YOU ARE A UK APPLICANT OR A EU APPLICANT ALREADY IN THE UK PLEASE REGISTER WITH US BY FILLING IN THE REGISTRATION FORM ON THE "REGISTER WITH US" PAGE.

Our duty is to find you the job you are looking for. But it doesn’t stop here. Once you are in the UK we help you find suitable accommodation, we guide you into how to open a bank account, how to register with the NHS and how to apply for your National Insurance Number. We also ensure that the UK employer making any job offers is a reputable company and we will check the contracts on offer for the following : holiday pay, minimum wage, sick pay. Contracts not offering these features will not be accepted by us as a company.Also, our Romanian partner will organise your transport so you really won't have anything to worry about. We know how daunting the experience of being alone in a foreign country can be. Register with us and you won’t be!

2. Eligibility criteria

For skilled workers:
In order to register with us you must meet the following criteria:
• Must be educated at least at High School level (10 years)
• Must possess good reading and writing skills in English
• Must disclose a full clean criminal record
• Must have all immunisations up to date
• If applying for a skilled job, you must have relevant experience to the job description and must be able to prove that you are qualified in the field.

For unskilled workers:
• There are numerous vacancies for unskilled workers such as cleaners, gardeners, packers, warehouse operators,etc. However, some work experience and a basic knowledge of English is desirable.

Important information:
• driving licences – the Romanian driving licence is valid in the UK but candidates must be prepared to take the British test due to the fact that you cannot get car insurance on your licence for more that 12 months.
• Plumbers and electricians- must complete a course accredited in the UK in order to become nationally registered. This is for insurance purposes. Courses are available at most colleges in the UK and take a few weeks.We can provide you with the information necessary and find the suitable course for you.
• Healthcare professionals – all vaccinations should be up to date and the candidate must pass a full medical ckeck with a GP . Immunisations should include TB, Hep. A and Hep. B.
• Candidates infected with TB or any type of Hepatitis would not be able to work in healthcare areas.
Most important- Once you sign a contract with your employer you must work for him for the specified period of time. If you leave the job solely for the reason of finding a better one you are liable to pay for our losses in front of that employer.

3. Points System

In order to qualify to register your details on the vacancies database you must score a minimum of 20 points for any skilled jobs.

How the points system works:

AGE
10 points • age between 20-45
5 points • age between 18-20 or 46-55

LANGUAGE SKILLS
10 points • advanced level
5 points • medium level
3 points • beginners

EDUCATION
10 points • degree level
8 points • baccalaureate level
5 points • 10 clase/ scoala professoinala

WORK EXPERIENCE
10 points • work experience in the same field as the job applied for
8 points • work experience similar to the job applied for
5 points • work experience in a different field
0 points • no work experience

YOU MUST SCORE A MINIMUM OF 20 POINTS TO QUALIFY.

Please note that you can win bonus points when we find almost an exact match between the jobseeker and the job description.

4. Register with us

If you think you meet the criteria, please fill in the initial application form1 click here and we will get back to you in order to advise you which language questionnaire you should fill in.

All your documents will have to be translated by one of our UK authorised translators.

Once you fill in the language questionnaire and we consider your language skills are acceptable we will send you an application form 2. The completed application form 2 (detailed) and all relevant documents (see lista documente) should all be submitted in person at European Expres Job's office. At this point your details will be registered on our database and held at our office in the UK being made available for inspection to the UK employers. We show your details to the relevant employer and once a decision of employment has been made we will inform you.

. INFORMATION FOR UNSKILLED WORKERS

If you don’t meet the requirements for 20 points we advise you to contact European Expres Job's office please email to discuss how we can help you. We have vacancies for unskilled workers as well. However, we need to talk to you first, as some English language knowledge and some work experience would be required. The initial application form and language questionnaires are free of charge.

Summary:

- check the eligibility criteria
- fill in the initial application form online or pick it up from European Expres Job's office in Cluj
- we will send you a language questionnaire depending on your skills or you can pick it up from the office in Cluj
- if we are satisfied with your language skills you take your qualifications to European Expres Job's office office in Cluj where you fill in the application form 2
- when we find you a suitable job we inform you. If you accept the offer you sign the contract.
- If you require any of our additional services (see link on homepage) you will have to pay a one-off payment which is to be decided depending on the level of service you require once in the UK. Please note that we do not organise the transport, but the Romanian counterpart does so. Therefore, transport is not an additional service. - Our additional services include: help with finding accommodation, help with opening a bank account, registering with the NHS and applying for a NI number, self-employment and business incorporation. Please see additional services page for more information. If you decide to take up any additional services please contact us or inform the Romanian counterpart and we will agree on the sum payable by you. This should be received by us at least 10 days before you travel so we can make arrangement for accommodation and other necessary appointments.
